These awesome people took us up on our ‘Coffee & Islam’ offer and here’s how it went down.
Thank you for our coffee and chat… Your organization is providing a wonderful opportunity to debunk so many misconceptions surrounding your culture and teachings. I learnt so much... we should respect each other’s without prejudice… keep up the good work in spreading your peaceful word.

…my trip over (not an easy drive at the best of times) was not wasted effort. For about an hour, my own Q&A discussion with personable Islamic volunteer (qualified Minister of Religion, Mohammad H), was relaxed, enjoyable and enlightening, and more than adequately served the point of the exercise to separate fact from fiction.
This website does a great job of enabling us non-Muslims to eliminate PHOG (perception, hearsay, opinion and guess) and provide a better understanding of the Islam religion. And, of course, I can thoroughly recommend arranging a one-on-one chat.
Peace to you all.

It was a great meeting and I learnt lots about Islam. Mohammad, who I met with, was very kind and very happy to answer all my questions.

We had a great chat over coffee and my husband and I have been on a tour of his mosque since. Will definitely keep in contact with him and would love to meet more Muslims here in Perth. I think it is a great program

It went really well and Hadi and I got on like a house on fire. We discussed aspects of Islam and helped to understand. It was great as the conversation serves as a paradigm of religious and cultural transparency and breaking down barriers.
Clarified some aspects of the faith I had trouble with.

The 'Coffee and Islam' session was a pleasant and informative time that went by so quickly. Many of my questions were answered and views I was unsure or confused about due to the way Western media is always twisting things out of context and making everything about Islam appear evil.
... The 'Coffee and Islam' session is a way I'd recommend for anyone wanting to casually chat with someone about Islam and be able to ask questions and see what everyday Islamic people are like - they are human and happy to chat with a cup of coffee or tea like a lot of Australians. Thank you Muslims Down Under!

Thank you for organising my chat & coffee. I had no real questions but we covered a lot of topics over easy social setting.
